Behavior

At Creekside all students are expected to SOAR...

Show self-control
Offer peer support
Actively listen and learn
Respect people and property

The school as a whole is implementing ways for classes and individuals to be recognized for positive behavior.

In the classroom, students will earn points for their good behavior that they can use at the end of a week for a special activity or to buy something from the prize box.  Behavior will be reported by notes, emails, or phone calls where appropriate.  Student agendas will be used as well, so please be sure to check those daily.

This year priority will be placed on teaching children to solve problems, brainstorm solutions, and evaluate plans.  One of the most valuable things we can teach children is to evaluate their attitude, behavior, and teamwork so that they plan accordingly.
